Calendar Girl Blog: Tune into CKWR 98.5FM
Tannis Slimmon and I are doing a live radio show with our pal Doug Gibson on Songs From the Woods tonight at 7pm central time. CKWR 98.5FM was Canada's first community licensed radio station and serves what is known as the Golden Triangle of Southern Ontario.
This will be our second (annual) appearance on the program.
Doug and I will banter about breast health and whacky calendar publishing adventures. Melodic Tannis will perform live. She wants to test run three new songs. And, because we can, we're going to slip in a tune performed and recorded by the Breast Friends Choir at the Breast of Canada Calendar Launch.
Calendar Girl loves doing live radio. This particular show is sweet. Nicely paced, fun and 90 minutes long. Please listen if you can.

Sue,
I don't get CKWR in Montreal, so could you tell me if the show will be recorded where I can get access?
Pierre,
Hmmmm.
You should be able to listen on line. Did you check their website?
We did not plan to record the show. I can only place 5 minute audio blogs here. We'll be there for the whole show....18 audio blogs worth.
You'd think there would be a way....

Faster than a speeding bullet bra I am.
Using yet another great technology, I telephoned the station.
Go to the station website (in the post), up on the top right corner, and click Listen Live.

Oh the case for an iPod is growing and growing. I'll soon have an overwhelming argument in favour of the investment to convince the director of the public purse.
Now all we need is for CKWR to podcast these important events.
