Calendar Girl Blog: Word Rest
Writing in excess of 15 blog posts a week seems to be messing with my audio vocabulary retrieval. Give me a pen and I have no problem. But put me face to face, and my language skills tank to an embarrassing low.
I suspect that my menopause is adding her own slight of hand to the mix, what with the short term memory lapse known to be part of that package. Still, cranking out three or four posts a day may also be weighing heavily.
To test this theory, I'm going to take a week off of this blog and The Breast Views. Considering that March is one of my slowest months calendar wise plus considering the best I've been able to do lately is brag about skating and...the art of ceiling staring, I think a break is in order.
Let's say we meet for lunch on March 20th? Calendar Girl's treat.

Hi Sue,
I am a librarian at UG. We wondered if we could get permission to use the "Breast of Canada calendar 2006" image in our newsletter. It is for the following article:
Unpinning the Bun!
People who work in libraries are often sterotyped as buttoned-down, compulsive shushers whose only deviation from the norm is multiple cat ownership. The things that our staff members do in their spare time handily puts this stereotype to rest. For instance:
One of our librarians appeared in the Breast of Canada 2006 calendar. Can you guess which month and who it is?
Would you mind letting us know as soon as possible? Please email me with your permission to
jburpee@uoguelph.ca
Sincerely,
K Jane
BTW: I love my calendar!
Sue
You're on for lunch on March 20. Your place or mine? Ha Ha. Have a nice rest.
And long live librarian calendar girls!
