Calendar Girl Blog: Moving Right Along
Man...you couldn't swing a cat for hitting all the copy writers (see yesterday's post) clamoring for a piece of the sexy, meaningful action of Breast of Canada grammar control.
Calendar Girl is pulling your leg here....yet it is true the position has been filled. But Calendar Girl would never swing a cat. And she'll box your ears if you do.
But wait. There's more grand news for a Friday afternoon.
The third sponsor has just this afternoon stepped up to the plate for the 2007 edition. My musical pal Arthur from the Ottawa Folklore Centre has been bellying up to the breast calendar bank for a few year's now. Arthur and I meet face to face at the Prairie Music Awards a couple of years back. Prior to this, he sold the recordings of my roster of musicians. Until the Winnipeg face time, we were only voices on the phone.
So why would a Folklore Centre sponsor a breast calendar you ask? Arthur's long time love and business partner of many year's died from the ugly disease.
Topfree Equal Rights will be continuing their financial assistance. They help women who encounter difficulty going without tops in public places in Canada and the USA, and inform the public on this issue. Paul, TERA's head coordinator contacted me during the hoopla of the 2002 year's effort. Completely outraged by the public outcry, he offered an encouraging voice that helped to get me through some serious self doubt. Ever since then TERA has helped out with bucks and links to our website. So three big cheers for TERA.
Sentex Communications, my wonderfully reliable, easy to deal with, courteous internet provider has once again agreed to a barter arrangement. I highly recommend using their services. Truth be told, they were my first internet provider back in the dark ages of 90's. I've known no other....monogamous I've stayed.... so good are they. Never have I grumbled in the dozen year's we've been together.
Can you say that about your internet provider? You could if you used Sentex!
Right then. Calendar has other fish to fry. Gently. In butter.
Would you like to be one? Sponsors are always welcome.
