Calendar Girl Blog: September

I turned the calendar page from August to September and my stomach turned as well.

I'm not sick in the conventional sense of flu and vomit. Nor am I sick in the head sense although I suspect there are people out there that would gladly argue that point. My nausea comes from a blend of excitement, thrill, doom and worry. I have four months to sell the remaining 1750 Breast of Canada calendars I have printed. Breaking that number down to a daily count means 14 and one third of a calendar needs to be purchased each day. One hundred per week.....which I've done before for several weeks running....is another way to look at the numbers.

Can Calendar Girl and the many dedicated Breast Ambassadors do this kind of volume? Will she and the team succeed like never before? Or will she crash and burn in a glorious, fiery explosion of do gooder scheming leaving behind a trail of helpers clinging to the dream?

Perhaps Calendar Girl needs to be less dramatic.
