Calendar Girl Blog: Fry Day
Last evening, our 'listening group' tucked into a CD of speeches made by Martin Luther King Jr..
Unless I'm deaf, which of course I am on so many levels, I'm not hearing anyone speaking with such clarity in today's world. My gawd the man could string a sentence together. And funny. Very funny.
So on one hand the CD proved inspirational and awe inspiring. On the other, I'm filled with head shaking disappointment. Given that was the 60's, progress seems some slow.
Calendar Girl wonders where we're headed as a world. Not to be negative, it simply bares asking.
